We are not a bank
CoverMe is not a bank, a credit union or a traditional lender. A cash advance obtained through CoverMe - Instant Cash Advance is not a conventional loan: it carries no interest and no finance charge, and requesting one does not involve a credit check.
No guarantee of approval
Sending a request does not mean it will be approved. Approval, the amount offered and how quickly funds arrive depend on the information you provide, the checks performed at the time of your request, and your bank. Being approved once does not guarantee approval next time.
What it costs
The app is free to download, there is no membership or subscription fee, and an advance carries no interest. Where optional extras are offered — for example expedited delivery of funds or a voluntary tip — the amount is disclosed to you before you confirm, and declining them does not affect whether your request is approved.
Requests submitted on this website
The request form on this website is operated with lending partners. Information you submit there may be shared with lenders and lending partners in our network so they can decide whether to make you an offer. A product offered by one of those lenders is a separate agreement between you and that lender, and it may carry interest, fees and terms that differ from a CoverMe advance. That lender must disclose the full cost of borrowing — including the APR and all fees — before you sign.
Credit implications
CoverMe does not run a credit check for an advance, and using the app does not affect your credit score. Lenders in the partner network set their own policies and may run a soft or hard credit inquiry; each must tell you which checks it performs before you accept an offer. Missing payments on a loan taken with a lender may be reported to credit bureaus.
Repayment
The repayment amount and date for an advance are shown to you before you confirm the request, normally aligned with your next payday. Make sure the money will be there: a failed repayment can trigger fees charged by your own bank, which are outside our control.
Availability
The service is intended for residents of the United States. Availability, amounts and terms can differ from state to state, and some products are not offered in every state.
Borrow responsibly
A cash advance is designed for a short-term gap, not for ongoing shortfalls. If you find yourself needing an advance every month, an extra advance usually makes things harder rather than easier. Consider a payment plan with the company you owe, a local assistance program, or free guidance from a nonprofit credit counseling agency.
